TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Irrespective of race, culture, gender or
religion, PULSE helps the unemployed in
Kouga (in the Eastern Canoe Province of
South Africa) with Accredited Skills
Programs such as Computer/Office
Administration, Home-based Care,
Hospitality, Sewing and Welding.
TRAINING
RHYTHM Starts with Life
Skills in the morning until 12:00.
Lunch Skills Training in the
afternoon The above
schedule will run for 6 weeks. After
this students will go on a Work for a
Living Course where they will be
empowered and go through a work
readiness program for 11 days. After
this will follow a month practical in
their skill whilst doing a CPR
(Continuously Personal Restoration)
program.
WHO MAY JOIN?
PULSE
requirements are that learners should be
between the age of 18 and 45 years and
unemployed. A learner should be on an
AET (Adult Education and Training) level
4 (Grade 9) to be able to learn at
PULSE. Learners should not have degrees
or three year diplomas – Grade 12 is not
necessary
