Our Services

PULSE

PULSE works in partnership and association with POPUP

People Upliftment Program). Established in 1999, POPUP employs a holistic approach to uplift underprivileged communities. Since 2005, they have operated a fully-fledged skills training and development center, providing market-related and cost-effective training to promote independence, restoration, and genuine upliftment. As PULSE, we aim to bring this impactful program to the Eastern Cape Kouga Area.

Skills Training and Development

PULSE offers Accredited Skills Programs in Kouga to the unemployed in Kouga, regardless of race, culture, gender, or religion. Our programs include Computer/Office Administration, Hospitality, and Sewing.

Training Rhythm

Our training schedule follows a structured approach:
  • Life Skills training in the morning until 12:00.
  • Lunch break.
  • Skills Training in the afternoon. This schedule runs for five weeks. Afterward, students participate in the Work for a Living Course, where they undergo an 11-day work readiness program. Following this, students engage in a month of practical training in their chosen skill while participating in the Continuously Personal Restoration (CPR) program. We continually endeavour to try to find employment for students who completed the course.

What To Expect

PULSE provides a unique social investment opportunity where high-quality training and services are delivered. Our compulsory Personal Restoration and Life Skills Program leads to transformed lives, instilling changed morals and values. Learners leave our organization with a sense of purpose and meaning. Through this program, we aspire to transform Kouga, addressing critical issues such as poverty, crime, and unemployment.

Furthermore, PULSE aims to create a hub where individuals can find trustworthy workers who possess good character, loyalty, and integrity. Graduates of PULSE will bring added value to any company due to the positive character changes they experience during their training period.
